What’s your favorite part of DJing weddings?

My favorite part of a wedding is the slow build—from that electric moment I introduce the couple as newlyweds to the exact second I announce that the dance floor is officially open. It’s this perfect little crescendo where I can feel the energy bubbling up. I’m getting hyped, the couple’s beaming, everything’s running smooth… and then boom—the magic hits. Everyone’s up, the music’s flowing, and just like that, the party takes off!

How would you describe your emcee style?

I’d say my emcee style is a fun and upbeat! I love sharing little fun facts about the couple—like how they met—or why they chose a specific song for a special moment. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: if the couple is smiling and their guests are too, I know I’ve done my job right.

How do you like to keep the dance floor bumpin’ all night?

I’ll play the songs that keep guests on the dance floor the entire evening. Not only do I work extensively off your playlist and requests, but I lean into tracks with strong drum patterns—think early 2000s pop, R&B, and hip-hop. But that’s not to say that I play ONLY those genres. If it takes a little Motown magic, 60s rock, or 70s classics to get your older guests moving, I’m all in! I also love weaving in songs that are meaningful to the couple, their wedding party, family and friends—it makes the night feel even more personal. And here’s my go-to tip for couples: if you want your guests on the dance floor, you’ve gotta be on it too! When you’re having fun, everyone else follows your lead.

Why should someone hire you to DJ their wedding?

If you’re looking for someone who can play your favorite artists and songs—with a fun little twist—then I might just be your DJ. I always keep the music true to your taste, but I like to add in a creative spin when the moment calls for it, just to keep things fresh and exciting. I’m a fan of pretty much every genre, and more importantly, I’m easygoing, professional, and genuinely here to help. If something doesn’t go exactly as planned (because hey, life happens), I’ll do everything I can to keep the night on track and make sure it still feels magical for you and your spouse.

Who is your all-time favorite artist?

Oof, tough choice—but I’d probably say either Michael Jackson or Usher! Both have seriously iconic voices and insane staying power in the music world. You’ll hear at least one of them at almost any party (with your blessing, of course), because their songs just hit that feel-good, get-up-and-dance sweet spot. Total crowd-pleasers, every time!

What are your hobbies outside of DJing?

I’m all about basketball, weight training, and music (no surprise there). Honestly, music is woven into pretty much everything I do. The right song can totally shift your mindset, and I’m a big believer in putting out positive energy wherever I go. Good vibes are contagious, and I try to bring that into every part of my life (and every event I’m part of).
