Who is your all-time favorite artist?

My all-time favorite music group is Empire of the Sun. They are known for combining electronic music and indie beats.

What’s your favorite part of DJing weddings?

To me, being a couples DJ for their wedding is an incredible honor. It is one of the most important days in their life, and knowing I can contribute to the energy in the room is one of my favorite parts about it. I enjoy being able to quickly and effortlessly change through different genres. I also find immense joy in seeing people smile, laugh, or run to the dance floor when they hear a song they were not expecting to hear.

How would you describe your MC style?

I would describe my MC style as energetic, but classy! It is a priority of mine to be aware of the energy in the room and contribute to it positively. Things can quickly change, and while I strive to announce what is expected, I can pivot and make the necessary changes in announcements if needed.

How do you like to keep the dance floor bumpin’ all night?

To me being a DJ is much more than playing music, it is about reading the crowd and knowing my audience. Through years of experience, I feel I have mastered knowing when to play specific types of music and knowing when to switch things up. While I prioritize the couple’s playlist, I also like to combine it with what the crowd is asking for or vibing to. DJing a wedding is not one-size-fits-all, it is an art form.

Why should someone hire you to DJ their wedding?

I believe couples should hire me to DJ their wedding because I take great pride in my DJing and people skills. I take feedback well and use it as an opportunity to continuously improve my work and skills. To me, each event is an opportunity to be better than I was at my last one.. I strive to create an unforgettable vibe by seamlessly mixing music, prioritizing the couple, keeping the dance floor packed, and being sure to contribute to the positive energy.

What are your hobbies outside of DJing?

My hobbies outside of djing include traveling with my wife and 4-year-old son, spending time outdoors, and meeting with my whiskey club once a month. I also enjoy playing baseball and soccer with my son and going on local hikes with him, my wife and our energetic labrador, Maddux.
